C BOUTIQUE HOTEL is a homey 17-room boutique hotel by Charley Antonio. It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood near Wright Park and is walking distance from the Mines View area.
You can think of it as a nice home away from home when you are in Baguio. One of the things I like in C Boutique is waking up to a yummy breakfast experience. This summer, Our Awesome Planet collaborated with C Boutique to enhance the Baguio experience with the Flavors of Baguio tour.
Here is our C Boutique and Flavors of Baguio Experience:
Flavors of Baguio: Discover Baguio, One Bite at a Time!
- C BOUTIQUE HOTEL ‘s Flavors of Baguio Food and Heritage Tour
- SOLIBAO: Baguio’s BEST Filipino Restaurant since 1972
- ROSE BOWL: Baguio’s Home-Grown BEST Chinese Food since 1945
- TAM-AWAN: Baguio’s Artist Village and Gardens in the Baguio Sky
- HILL STATION: One of the BEST Restaurants in Baguio! (Revisited)
The ground floor is where you can find the dining area for breakfast and dinner, and the bar area for sunset cocktails or for hanging out after dinner.
It has a lovely alfresco dining area with a bonfire facility in the center.
The second floor has a common area for reading and board games. You can book the two rooms in front of this common area, and you can have it made private for your family during your stay.
ROOM ACCOMMODATIONS:
The rooms have a modern, clean design, and…

…each one showcases a unique artwork by a Baguio Artist. (Note: All artworks are for sale.)
Each room has its own mini-veranda with a vertical garden as the view.
We stayed in the Deluxe Loft for our family of 2 adults and 3 boys.
The bed in the loft is big — my 8-year-old son Aidan decided to make this his own room during our stay.
Here’s a top-view of the room from the loft area. As with most of the hotels in Baguio, the rooms are air-cooled by the Baguio weather and equipped with ceiling or electric fans.
Even during the summer, it’s quite cool at night.
The restroom is simple and clean, but a bit narrow.
It’s nice to know that they use natural products for their soaps and shampoos.
Here’s a look at the veranda area on the third floor.
Although the higher you go, the more you start to notice the residential neighbors at the back of C Boutique.
One of the things we love about C Boutique is that it is walking distance from Mines View Park. We would have an early morning walk or a late sunset walk to Mines View, or buy pasalubong from Good Shepherd.
C BOUTIQUE BREAKFAST (served 6.00am to 10.00am):
We love C Boutique’s Breakfast because it’s thoughtfully crafted and highlights the ingredients that are locally available in Baguio. Check out the menu: C Boutique Hotel Breakfast Menu
★ Crispy Espada (P195 +10% service charge). Crisped Thin Dried Beltfish served with Garlic Fried Rice.
This is my personal favorite because it’s very crunchy, not too salty and a good alternative to danggit.
★ Northern Benedict (P195 +10% service charge). Baguio Longganisa Patty with Poached Eggs topped with Hollandaise Sauce.
I love the use of longganisa to localize this Eggs Benedict favorite.
Twice Cooked Bonuan Bangus (P195 +10% service charge). Urdaneta’s famous smoked Bonuan Bangus, crisped and served with Garlic Fried Rice.
The smoked Bonuan Bangus is best soaked in vinegar.
Crispy Shredded Tapa (P195 +10% service charge). Cured Beef Brisket Thinly Shredded, sitting on top of Stir Fried Bagoong Rice.
In the breakfast menu, I like this the least because the shredded tapa is very thin and lacks flavor (especially if you are craving for that tapsilog taste).
Blueberry Pancake (P195 +10% service charge). Three (3) pieces pancakes served with blueberry syrup and butter.
The pancakes are ordinary and served with butter, blueberry syrup and maple syrup.
Classic Hot Chocolate (P95 +10% service charge).
The Hot Chocolate is good but it would be better if they served it in a ceramic mug instead of a glass to keep the chocolate warm. Check out the drinks menu: Hot & Cold Beverages Menu | Charley’s Health Mix
WRIGHT PARK
When in Baguio, we often prefer to stay near the Wright Park area and away from the busyness of Session Road.
There’s a nearby access to jeepneys if you want to go around Baguio.
The boys love to commute once in a while. It’s great that Wright Park is literally just 5 minutes away.
Wright Park Tip: Go on a horseback riding tour around the Wright Park area, at the back of The Mansion, on to Mines View Park and then get dropped off at C Boutique Hotel.
We paid P1,800 for 4 horses and 2 guides. Check out the Wright Park Horse Rates.
Here’s a souvenir photo of the boys riding the horses en route back to C Boutique Hotel.

LUNCH OPTION: Solibao or Rose Bowl?
SOLIBAO is a home-grown Filipino restaurant established in 1972. It now has 6 branches around Baguio and still counting. Its name was inspired by the drums used by the Igorot in the Cordilleras. It is best known for its yummy Filipino recipes like Pancit Palabok, Kare-Kare and Puto Bumbong.
Solibao is the in-house resto of the Heritage Mansion. Read about my first-time experience there: SOLIBAO: Baguio’s BEST Filipino Restaurant since 1972
ROSE BOWL Steakhouse and Restaurant is the Chinese food of choice when you are in Baguio. It was known as Rice Bowl from 1945 to 1968 and was renamed Rose Bowl on March 7, 1969 by Artemio and Lourdes Nang.
To ensure the original high quality of the food they serve, they chose not to franchise but decided to put up a lone branch in Bauang, La Union, which is operated by their son Dr. Peter Paul R. Nang.
Their food is Cantonese Chinese cuisine served in family-sharing portions.

MERIENDA: Tam-Awan Village
TAM-AWAN Village is a reconstructed Cordillera village showcasing the traditional Ifugao Huts, and Baguio’s art and culture scene. It was established by National Artist BenCab in 1998 together with Chanum Foundation to promote the local Baguio Artists. Tam-awan is a local word which means “vantage point”.
You can check out the permanent and occasional art exhibits of various Baguio artists. Also, artists are always available to sketch your portrait. There is a cafe where you can get a taste of Cordillera flavors. Lastly, you can immerse yourself in the culture by staying overnight in the village in one of the authentic Ifugao huts.
Here’s a quick tour of TAM-AWAN: Baguio’s Artist Village and Gardens in the Baguio Sky
DINNER: Hill Station
HILL STATION is one of the best restaurants in Baguio. It highlights the different flavors and influences of Mitos Benitez-Yñiquez’ travels all around Europe, America and Asia. It won back-to-back recognition in the Miele’s Best Restaurants in Asia awards.
It’s one of my favorite restaurants in the Philippines because you can explore the world through their food, with fine-dining quality but with a casual Baguio log-cabin ambiance.
We want to revisit Hill Station to savor their meat dishes and to try it at night.

C BOUTIQUE NIGHTS
It’s also nice to chill out at night in the dining area of C Boutique.
Check out the C Boutique Restaurant Menu
C Sling (P150 +10% service charge). Gin, Cherry Brandy, Triple Sec, Lemon Juice, Pineapple Juice, Grenadine, Cherry.
You can choose from their Cocktails and Alcoholic Beverages Menu
Belgian Fri (P250 +10% service charge) with assorted dipping sauces.
A good pica-pica is their fries with three dipping sauces.
★ Fisherman’s Pie (P230 +10% service charge).
We like their seafood pie with the cheesy, creamy topping.
★ Spinach & Mushroom Lasagna (P285 +10% service charge).
They have a good lasagna recipe — best to eat it while it’s hot!
Vegetable Terraces (P220 +10% service charge) served with rice.
This is just OK. It would be nice if they could make the vegetables more exciting, flavor-wise.
Oriental Bagnet (P310 +10% service charge).
An interesting twist to Bagnet that you can try.
The best part of C Boutique nights is hanging out near the bonfire.
Here’s a souvenir photos of the boys trying to blow the bonfire like a birthday cake. 🙂
Overall, C Boutique is a nice family escape, especially if you are looking forward to modern homey accommodations and waking up to a good breakfast. It is located in a pleasant area near Wright Park, and is is walking distance from Good Shepherd. It’s also close to all the latest dining destinations in Baguio.
If you are staying for two nights, I would recommend the Flavors of Baguio, which includes lunch at Solibao or Rose Bowl, a tour around the city, merienda stopover at Tam-Awan Village, and a lovely dinner at Hill Station. (Reservations and Transportation are already included as part of the tour.)
